The DAAD Regional Office Cairo organised on 18 September 2019 a DAAD Alumni event under the title “EU Science Talk: Networking opportunities for Alumni and Institutions”.
The event aimed to identify the EU strategies and available funding opportunities offered by the EU institutions and to highlight how to maximize the benefit of these opportunities for the DAAD Alumni and their home institutions in Egypt.
The Alumni Evening was inaugurated by a welcoming note from Ms. Isabell Mering, the Director of the DAAD Regional Office Cairo, where she emphasised the importance of coming together with all the other EU partners to open new horizons for the DAAD Alumni. Dr. Heba Gaber, the Research and Innovation Officer at the European Union Delegation to Egypt took the floor after and gave a keynote speech on the diverse funding opportunities offered by the EU.
