Ta'ziz Partnership Programme Open for Applications

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has announced a new programme – the Ta’ziz Partnership – which will run between 2023 and 2025 and specifically target partnerships between German higher education and research institutions and partners in the following MENA-countries: primarily Tunisia, Sudan, Lebanon and Iraq, but also Egypt, Algeria, Yemen, Jordan, Libya and Morocco.
The programme, which works primarily in three funding lines, facilitates dialog spaces for reform efforts in the higher education sectors and in the societies of the participating partner countries.
Ta’ziz actively promotes the involvement of actors from non-university science and research, the public sector (e.g. politics, administration, state-owned enterprises), the economy (e.g. private companies, industrial enterprises) or civil society (e.g. NGOs, associations, foundations).
Please note since only the German partner can apply for the funding, the call for application is currently available in German and can be found here Förderprogramme finden – DAAD – Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst
