Workshop "Heritage Marketing & Community-based Cultural Toursim"
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Mohamed Amer and has been attended by 28 participants from interdisciplinary backgrounds.
On the first day, the participants were introduced to methods and methodologies of heritage marketing and learned how to prepare a heritage marketing plan.

The second day included a visit to Royal Carriages Museum in Cairo, where the participants had the chance to apply the concepts and principles learned and had a discussion and Q & A with the museum’s curators and officials. The participants worked afterwards in groups to develop a heritage marketing plan, to propose a new mission and vision and to promote a heritage branding for the museum as a case study. The results were concluded by the trainer and detailed report with constructive feedback and recommendations has been sent to the museum for consideration and improvements.
