COSIMENA Cultural Heritage Conference on ”Cultural Heritage between digital transformation & pandemic” from November 27th until November 29th, 2020 in cooperation with the German Archaeological Institute in Cairo.

Aim & Scope

In May 2018, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo launched the “Cultural Heritage-Cluster”, COSIMENA’s 7th cluster of scientific innovation.

The cluster aims at bringing together scientists from all disciplines who teach and do research on topics within the field of cultural heritage: such as history, archaeology, papyrology, museology or other human sciences with policy makers, partners from the civil society as well as art and culture.

Target Group of the event

Policy makers, key players, and researchers in the following fields: history, archaeology, papyrology, museology or other human sciences with policy makers, partners from the civil society and sometimes also partners from art and culture.

When:

from November 27th until November 29th, 2020

  • Friday, November 27th from 1 PM until 5 PM
  • Saturday, November 28th, from 10 AM until 2 PM
  • Sunday, November 29th, 2020 from 10 AM until 2 PM

  • MENA-Region (Egypt, Jordan, Algeria & Tunisia)
