Complex, cross-linked systems pervade many areas of modern economy and industry. The key to solve these problems is through mathematical modeling in a broad sense, which is based on a profound knowledge of applied mathematics, physics and computer science. The program is a mix of advanced courses, interdisciplinary project seminars along with innovative electives and fully taught in English.

With this knowledge, the students will be well-prepared for positions in research-intensive companies in the field of engineering, consulting or finance, as well as for a career in science. Alternatively, a Ph.D. degree in mathematics, physics, or computer science in Koblenz, in Germany or abroad may be pursued. In overall, the graduates will have excellent career prospects nationally as well as internationally.
