The DAAD Regional Office Cairo invites you to attend the hybrid Public Lecture on “Non-Destructive Testing and Other Applications” in the framework of its project “Clusters for Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).

Date: Wednesday, February 9th, 2022

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Cairo Local Time)

Location: Hybrid event conducted in English via MS Teams and at Steigenberger Hotel at El Tahrir

Content:  

  • Introduction to Non-Destructive Testing
  • Current Projects at the Chair of Non-Destructive Testing at TU Munich, Germany
  • Non-Destructive Testing in the Medical Field

Target Group:

The general public, researchers and scientists working in the field of civil and environmental engineering, engineering geology and geophysics, lightweight constructions (CFRC and GFRC) in Aeronautic and Automotive, biomedical engineering to cultural heritage protection and forensic archeology from Germany, Egypt, the MENA region and Sudan .
