The DAAD Regional Office Cairo invites you to attend the public lecture entitled “The Cornucopia of Environmental Islamic Studies”. The public lecture is organized in cooperation with the Orient Institut Beirut (OIB) within the framework of the DAAD project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).

The public lecture aims to shed light on the following perspectives:
- The interface between consumer culture, urban settings, and material culture
- Islamic ethical horizons and research agendas
- Islamic Studies in line with globally informed Area Studies
Target Group:
Researchers and Scientists working in all science fields, especially in the fields of Social Sciences and Humanities residing in Egypt and the public.
