COSIMENA’s first Urbanism Kick-Off event took place at the first international conference “Towards a Better Quality of Life” in November. The three-day event provided a platform to discuss the broad aspects of sustainable urban development and by setting up a first thematic framework for the cluster.
On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo held on its premises a Public Lecture titled “In-between Cities” in the framework of its project “Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa” (COSIMENA).
Public Lecture Evening on Urban Planning and Development
After the summer break, the DAAD Regional Office Cairo started the second half of the year with the COSIMENA Public Lecture Evening on “Urban Planning and Development”, on 25 August 2019.
On the evening of 28 March 2018, Prof. Dr. Kai Nagel, Professor of Transportation Planning at Technische Universität Berlin, gave a public lecture on the use of simulation technology to optimise transportation planning in metropolitan cities.
