Within the scope of COSIMENA (Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa), the DAAD Regional Office Cairo is supporting the Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) initiative on March 22nd from 10:00am to 12:00pm with its „Virtual Matchmaking Session 2021“.

PRIMA is an initiative between EU and third countries, based on the principle of mutual benefit and equal footing to combat challenges of the Mediterranean region.

Its objective is to build inclusive, healthy, and socio-economically developed Mediterranean societies by promoting innovative and integrated solutions to unsustainable agro-food systems and water management.

This session aims to highlight the funding opportunities to accomplish this objective in three fields: water scarcity, unsustainable agricultural practices, and food security problems.
