Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Research visit to Germany
Upon DAAD invitation extended to H.E. Prof. El Shihy, Egyptian Minister of Egyptian Higher Education Minister from 10 to 12 July in Berlin, the visit was aiming at exploring the German experience in establishing Science Parks and at getting more acquainted with the German model of University of Applied Sciences.
On the 12th of July 2018, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) hosted its 5th consecutive Falling Walls Lab Egypt. The FWL Egypt is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and hosted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with the support of our Partners Egypt Innovate, Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (TIEC) , the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), the German-Arabic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Misr El-Kheir Foundation. The World Life Science Forum BioVision took place for the 9th time in 2018 at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt. Egyptian German Evening on the Life of Dr. Max Meyerhof
ow a German Eye Doctor became an Egyptian Translator – this was the title of an interdisciplinary evening revealing the extraordinary life of Dr. Max Meyerhof.

On October 5, 2017, the 11th Study Information Day for Graduates of the German Schools took place at the Deutsche Evangelische Oberschule (DEO) in Cairo. The event has a long-standing tradition and annually attracts many German universities and universities for applied sciences. With seven recognised German schools, of which four offer the German graduation certificate Abitur, it is not difficult to explain the growing interest.
